About me

Birth: November 4th, 1963 in Leer/ East Friesland (Northwest Germany)

Grew up in the village of Strackholt (East Friesland) 

Civilian service in a retirement home in Oldenburg 

Studies (sound engineer) in Berlin 

Employment: as a sound engineer for 4 years in the theater in Hildesheim and one year in Magdeburg, then

Occasional work: playing the piano in restaurants and at parties, delivering newspapers, author, street music, rent income, close to Hannover. Since 2005 temporarily at Nerja (South Spain), since 2010 permanently.

Since 2020 I play the piano in the church services of the German Protestant community in El Morche.

I was married to a Korean woman for 11 years; I have a daughter, born in 1991, she is an architect.

Murielle has been my partner since 2018. She comes from near Paris.

My gardens: In Germany I had allotment gardens, in southern Spain near Nerja I have been renting an agricultural plot with avocado trees, bananas, chickens, etc. since 2016.

Hobbies: simple lifestyle, self-sufficiency, hiking, health, reuse, environmental protection, politics, music and a bit of chess. I occasionally wrote comments at zeit-online.de.

Hiking/events: Since 2000 I invite to Walkabouts - hikes with focus on connection with nature. 2005 I walked with some companions from South Germany to South Spain, 4 times I did it with bicycles. Some years I invited also to Rainbow Rawfood Gatherings (special camps) in Germany and Spain.
