Nomadic Retreat

Pampaneira/Órgiva, southern Spain ★ 5 people participated. Some of them were phantastic musicians, so there were beautiful imprvisation sessions. The first both days we walked around Pampaneira, a mountain village Northeast of Órgiva and slept at a beautiful river with cascades and bathing pools. Around Pampaneira and on a walk to the next village we found everywhere figs, mulberries, cherries and grapes like in a paradise. Mostly at the river there was an abundance of various herbs.

At  27 Aug it began to rain. And in the weather forecast they prognosted a permanent rain for 3 days, which is quite rare in this saison. And we hadn't brought a propper rain protection. So we drove to Tomtom's home close to the town of Órgiva. There we made some walks and visited an interesting community project. At the 29th we finished the Retreat as some of us had private projects.

We agreed that the idea and the area of the event is very good. So four of us will organise same thing next year again, with a better advertisement and organisation:

* The invitation we'll spread out two months before beginning.
* We'll draw a flyer and display it in some communities around Órgiva.
* We'll ask people to participate from the first to the last day of the Retreat: 21 to 28 Aug, 2018, extension possible.
* We'll ask people to register bindingly until one week before beginning. We'll accept until 18 registrations.
* If we get less than 8 registrations until one week before beginning, we'll cancel the Retreat.
* We'll bring a big tarp for common rain protection.
* We'll live mainly from the fruits and herbs we collect there, supplemented by some raw food which we'll bring from home.
