Cabo de Gata, South Spain  ★  10 people walked through this "wild and isolated landscape with some of Europe's oldest geological features" (Wikipedia), the Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Nijar.

In Rodalquilar, we almost finished the tour because of rainy weather : We put our alarm clocks on 6:15 am to get the only bus to Almería, were waiting early in the morning from 6:50 to 8:10 at the bus-station...

The bus didn't come, maybe because it was the Good Friday. So, we decided to continue one day more. And it was a really great day ! The weather was fine, the paths and roads were nice, with wonderful views... For getting a better quality, please click on the photo.

First night - we slept on top of this mountain, East of Carboneras.

Sven slept here.

Aim'jie took a photo of the sunrise. Me too.

The "Cargadero", an old loading station from ship to train, East of Agua Amarga.

Second night - Aim'jie and I slept in this isolated building with view to the sea...

Mostly, we followed this trail with white-blue marks along the coast.

Third night - we slept in the caves which you can recognise in the right mountain.

Friday

Fourth night - Aim'jie and I found a secluded cave with view over the sea...
