Adventure Walk

🚶🚶🏿‍♀️🚶🏼Walkabout with 3 participants6 - 13 Aug 2019

It was more than walking, we climbed slopes, balanced on a ridge, beat our way through bushes, waded through a river and fasted 3 days at the river. The mountains close to Nerja are really great, no houses, no agriculture, untouched nature in a varied landscape with breathtaking views. There were only three of us, but we also saw advantages in the small number of participants; on the third day, the tour turned out to be a little more adventurous than planned. Next year we would like to invite you to a similar tour, but change the route a little to limit the bushes and the climbing.

It's a bit hot. Thank you tree, for giving shade!

My sandals are from the rubbish. One broke. But I manage to sew it...

... and often I walk barefoot. My feet are from an elephant ;-)

Even for peeing we find beautiful places :-)

The queen of the mountains.

Sometimes it's possible to see the mountains of Africa (200 km distance).

We're on the highest point of the mountain chain, "La Cadena".

Walking through the wilderness for getting to the amazing river...

... and fast 3 days.

Monday

Afterwards we walk back to Nerja along this impressive river.

We watch a fight between a snake and a frog.

Oleander at the river. Not to eat, but to admire...
