Aim'jie's Walk

. . . 🚶‍♂️🚶 . . .Walkabout with 2 participants18 - 23 Nov 2020

In these times of pandemic, I would like to respect the restrictions imposed by society and not invite people to go for walkabouts together. But my partner Aim'jie urgently wanted to spend a few days in the mountains, as the barking of our neighbours' dogs is annoying. I accompanied her into the mountains, 11 km away from the nearest village. I went back alone.

Aim'jie came back later. For the first time in her life, she spent several days alone in the mountains. This time helped her to feel safer and more familiar in the mountains.

The first night, close to Frigiliana in the Valley of Río Higuerón. This time we brought a tent.

We went Río Higuerón more upwards. Partly there is water, another part is dry.

The way out of Río Higuerón is a bit complicated. We took a dry tributary and had to climb sometimes.

Friday

Here in the mountains, 11 km from the next village, Aim'jie spent 2 days alone.

There was one fruit tree with pomegranates. They were wonderful!

It's a beautiful area.
