Do you know Pitanga fruits? Almost no one here knows them. But they are tasty, they grow easily in our area and tolerate dry periods!
This year the fruits ripen two and a half months earlier than last year. Although the bush looks happy, it has only 15 fruits. Today Murielle and I ate 6 of them, we like the taste.
Yesterday I ate the first Pitanga fruit from our garden. The bush was a bit damaged by the fire in October 2019, but now it looks fine again. It seems to grow easily. The taste is not special like avocados or bananas, but I like it: juicy and a bit sweet.
