I planned to walk from the coast to the hot spring of Sanra Fé from 8 March 2025. But there was too much rain, we postponed it, The rain didn't stop, we postponed it again. Finally we started on 24 March. But after just half a day we decided to go back home ...

The riverbed of the Barranco de Maro is dry and very beautiful for hiking.
There are several caves.
Mireia doesn't feel good. She goes back.
Some time later, Aline goes back. She doesn't have the necessary equipment. I continue with Sven. He is strong and an experienced hiker...
...but at a break we talk about the weather forecast. If we head up into the mountains tomorrow, it might snow there. And we can already see dark clouds coming down from the mountains, while the sun is shining on the coast. So we decide to head back home as well. We want to hike the planned route later in sunny weather.
But we're going back a different way than we came. I like trying new trails. This trail west of the Río Chillar is new to me.
My food, planned for 4 days.
Mushrooms are rare here. After many rainy days, we find this one - is it a porcini? I try a small piece. The taste is okay - and I feel fine.
There are a few caves here too.
