In May 2017 we invited to a Rawfood Gathering in the Sierra de Cazorla, 200 km North of Granada. We wanted to renounce fire because of the danger. However, some days before we cancelled the gathering because in the same time there was in Cuenca, some hundred kms eastwards, a normal Rainbow Gathering. We decided to invite to go there and spread the raw food energy there. Martha and Grisha, who prepared the Rawfood Gathering with me, went to the Gathering in Cuenca. Here their personal review:
"It was (is) a very beautiful place. virgen. after we left we were not so virgin anymore...
we get stronger in idea how dangerous the limitless fire is,
how rainbow reflects the state of the whole world, all its colors,
how we cannot exclude anything what we refuse from the rainbow
the only way to change/heal is to find what we refuse in ourselves and change it from the inside.
We saw how entire colonies of living beings - ants, worms, spiders, insects...- burned in the fire by those blinded by the light; those who refused the night, the darkness, the cold.
and even if we were putting attention on this side,
we were one of those blinded on another side (smoking, eating too much, being too fast...)
most of the rainbow life was happening around the fire and people,
and in moments in which we remembered and connected more with our elders and brothers the stones and trees and other beings we were filled with tranquility and love as with suffering and pain.
Grisha got seriously ill from smoking and illness opened the senses and the last few days he was together and compassionate with nature. Now he's much better."
I got an email: "You are eating raw meat, and you put chickens into prison. And you're inviting to a Healing Rawfood Gathering. What's that? It's not fitting together at all. Please inform the people of the newsletter about that, because there are many strict vegan people..."
Yes, I have currently 17 chickens on 2,000 m2 land. And I eat the meat from the roosters, whom I slaughter myself. But in my view it is fitting together with my effort for the Healing Rawfood Gatherings and the other events. They're vegan because of their tradition and because the vegan food is a suitable basic to come together - it's not related to my personal conviction. (And if all participants agree, we might do some exceptions from the vegan food). I don't bring my raw meat to the food circles of the gatherings. But at home I do different.
I am happy if I find people who takes the focalizing of the gatherings over. Also I find it good if they are vegan. However, I want to ask all strict vegan brothers and sisters: not to forget that the Rainbow has many colors. Everyone is welcome, the only condition is peace instead of violence on the gathering.
